CONTINUING EDUCATION APPROVAL

AMEL Education, LLC is an approved provider of continuing education for Certified AODA Professionals through the Illinois Certification Board d/b/a IOADAPCA. We are also approved as providers of continuing education through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for professional counselors (LPCs and LCPCs), social workers (LSWs and LCSWs), and nurses (APNs, LPNs and RNs).  You can rest assured that any AMEL Education seminar you attend will count towards the continuing education requirement for your respective state board, as all seminar offerings are clearly identified with the requisite approvals.

AGENCY IN-SERVICE TRAININGS

We are happy to coordinate with your agency regarding in-service training(s) tailored to the needs of your organization.  Please contact us to customize a training schedule delivered on-site at your workplace.

ATTENDANCE

In order to receive the certificate of completion and be awarded the requisite continuing education credits, attendees must arrive on-time and stay until the seminar is finished.  No partial credit will be awarded and attendance records will be monitored and audited throughout the day.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

After the seminar is completed, attendees will be required to complete a seminar evaluation form and sign-out.  Upon successful confirmation of completed attendance and evaluation form, a certificate of completion will be presented.  In other cases, a final audit of the attendance records may be required, and in which case, a certificate of completion will be mailed to the address we have on record within five (5) business days.

SEMINAR PRICING

The price of an AMEL EDUCATION, LLC seminar is meant to represent value and be affordable for all professionals.  With this in mind, seminar costs are fairly and competitively priced.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS AND SUBSTITUTIONS

We understand that sometimes schedule conflicts happen.  Should you need to cancel or reschedule your registration, please contact us here.  We are happy to provide a refund (minus a $15 administrative fee) for cancellations received at least one week in advance of the scheduled seminar date.  For cancellations received with less than one week's notice or for no-shows, no refunds are issued.  If you would like to send a colleague to attend a seminar in your place, no fee is charged; please email us here with your colleague's information.

PAYMENTS

You may pay for seminar registration fees using our online payment system (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover or Diner's Club only) or you may mail in a check or money order to pay for a seminar.  Please make all checks out to: AMEL Education, LLC and mail along with your registration form(s) to: AMEL Education  P.O.
